Update Jan 18 - Suncorp PNet |
|
The Suncorp group of insurance companies has announced that the migration to PNet on-line quoting protocol from the ARNIE system has been postponed until February 3rd, 2011.
The Suncorp Group, which includes insurance companies such as Suncorp, GIO, AMP and Vero, will be progressively phasing out the ARNIE electronic quoting system and replacing it with an upgraded version of PNet.
PNet is currently being used by AAMI and Just Cars. The upgrade will apply to these insurers as well once testing and certification has been completed in December 2010. The timetable for migration of repairers from ARNIE to PNet is to commence in february 3rd, 2011 and be completed by April 2011.
Some repairers have already been contacted by Suncorp to change user names and/or passwords to conform to the new PNet requirements and it is expected that all repairers will be contacted to inform them of the change of commencement date.
The PPGAccess Mailbox module will, of course, be updated to align with the PNet upgrade and will be distributed through the usual web update process. The only setup required will be to create new insurance companies in Estimate Manager and corresponding Comms Partner settings. This should take about 5 minutes with a remote connection to the Help Desk (telephone 1800 627 798).
